Job Overview A-Better Heat & Air Conditioning, a leading Oklahoma-based HVAC contractor with over 40 years of industry experience, is seeking a professional and welcoming Receptionist to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As the first point of contact for our valued clients, you will play a crucial role in representing our company's commitment to exceptional service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our front desk and providing key administrative support to ensure our operations run smoothly. Salary: $28.00 - $45.00 per hour Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for the company, greeting clients and visitors in a warm and professional manner.
• Manage a multi-line telephone system, answering, screening, and forwarding incoming calls.
• Schedule service appointments and dispatch technicians efficiently.
• Respond to customer enquiries, providing accurate information about our heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services.
• Perform general administrative duties, including data entry, filing, photocopying, and managing correspondence.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and presentable reception area.
• Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
• Provide administrative support to other team members as required to contribute to the team's success.

• Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Agent, or in a similar customer-facing administrative role.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritise, and work under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• A professional appearance and a positive, welcoming attitude.
• Excellent time-management abilities and attention to detail.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in the HVAC or a related trade industry is desirable but not essential.
