Registered Nurse (RN)

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering comprehensive care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care for Labor and Delivery patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and established hospital policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment to ensure safe delivery of care.
• Exhibit leadership in anticipating and planning patient care needs.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and professional development.
• Delegate patient care priorities according to the education and experience of available staff.
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel in delivering patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Relevant certifications, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience with a focus on obstetrical care.

Additional Information

This position requires travel between multiple locations within the region. Military scrubs will be provided. Local candidates will not be considered.
