Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments and develop tailored treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy techniques targeting mobility improvement, strength building, balance restoration, and functional recovery
• Collaborate with a dedicated team, including nurses, doctors, case managers, and rehabilitation specialists, to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and home exercise regimens
• Document assessments, treatments, and advancements in compliance with established facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to ensure aligned and coordinated patient management

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification highly recommended
• Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., neurology, geriatrics) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience in a similar role is strongly preferred
