Kristin Wasson is looking for a detail-oriented part time HR team member to support a broad range of people operations in Eugene, Oregon. This role helps keep human resources services organized, responsive, and compliant by assisting with hiring, onboarding, employee support, records administration, and benefits coordination. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, strong discretion, and a service-focused approach when working with employees and supervisors across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate recruitment activities from posting opportunities through interview scheduling, candidate communication, and hiring documentation.

• Facilitate onboarding tasks to help new employees transition smoothly into their roles, including required forms, orientation support, and policy acknowledgements.

• Maintain accurate employee files and HR records while ensuring confidential information is handled appropriately and in accordance with established standards.

• Assist with benefits administration by responding to questions, processing enrollment-related changes, and supporting employees during eligibility and coverage events.

• Administer leave-related processes and documentation, tracking requests and helping ensure consistent application of applicable policies and procedures.

• Support workers’ compensation case administration by collecting information, maintaining records, and coordinating communication with relevant parties.

• Provide guidance to employees and supervisors on human resources practices, workplace policies, and routine employee relations matters.

• Help implement and uphold HR policies and procedures through clear communication, documentation, and day-to-day administrative support.

• Experience supporting multiple human resources functions in a generalist or specialist capacity.
• Knowledge of employee relations practices, HR administration, onboarding activities, and benefits coordination.
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle detailed documentation and prioritize competing tasks.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-service-oriented approach to employee support.
• Proficiency using HRIS platforms and standard business software to maintain records and process HR transactions.
• Familiarity with leave administration, policy interpretation, and routine compliance-related HR processes.
