The Wealth Relationship Manager SAFE Act is a seasoned professional role that applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and improving processes and workflow for the area or function. It requires a deep understanding of cross‑functional integration, good analytical skills, strong communication and diplomacy, and informal/formal leadership within teams. The role also involves coaching and training of new recruits and influencing decisions through advice and counsel. Responsibilities Identify, build and deepen relationships to gain incremental wallet share of the affluent and High Net Worth segment with financial planning and excellent discovery and profiling skills. Anticipate complex financial needs of clients and offer solutions through a wide range of products, services and tools based on client profiling. With support of product specialists, recognize and understand a client’s banking, credit and investment needs and goals to provide holistic financial solutions. Provide regular value‑added engagement with clients through high‑touch, face‑to‑face meetings, consistent communication and access to seminars. Master referral opportunities to grow portfolio. Proactively source, acquire and expand high‑value customer relationships by maximizing sale and service opportunities. Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate (e.g., Lending Consultants, Financial Advisors, Small Business Partners, relationship managers). Organize client events to enhance client bonding. Acquire new clients through converting referral leads. Manage client follow‑up and adhere to all regulatory and compliance operating procedures. Ensure strict adherence to KYC/AML and other compliance norms. Partner with all branch roles to ensure clients have a positive in‑branch experience. Assess risk when making business decisions, safeguarding the firm’s reputation, and ensuring compliance with laws, rules and regulations. Assume informal and formal leadership roles within teams and provide coaching and training to new recruits. Drive compliance and ethical judgment in personal behavior and business practices, escalating and reporting control issues transparently. Qualifications 5‑8 years of experience. Strong analytical and financial skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Organized with strong attention to detail. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and experience using Money Guide Pro, NaviPlan Select, or similar financial planning software. Basic understanding of investment and financial planning strategies preferred. Self‑starter, problem‑solver, goal‑oriented team player able to work independently. Required current US FINRA Registration: SIE, Series 6, 63, and 65 or Series 7 and 66, or equivalent. Must meet all FINRA Registration requirements within 150 days of starting the role. Insurance Group 1 required. Must meet all Insurance Group 1 requirements within 150 days of starting the role. Bilingual in Mandarin and English a plus. Must register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry and maintain registration annually, update information timely, and provide a unique identifier to consumers as required by SAFE Act regulations and Citi policies. Education Bachelor's or university degree, or equivalent experience. Compensation & Benefits Primary Location Full Time Salary Range: $83,920 – $125,880.
