Laboratory - Medical Lab Technician

Laboratory Technician (Core Lab + Limited Blood Banking)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Rotating shifts from 7:00 AM - 7:30 AM and/or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with 36 hours per week. The technician will be required to work two weekends per month and will be included in any holiday rotation.

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our Core Lab team. The technician will support both the Emergency Department and the Outpatient Surgery Department, performing essential laboratory tests and limited outpatient phlebotomy tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory tests as required in a high-volume Core Lab environment.
• Conduct limited outpatient phlebotomy as needed.
• Participate in rotating weekend and holiday shifts.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with laboratory protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current or very recent high-volume, hospital-based Core Lab experience.
• Experience with Beaker/SoftLab strongly preferred.
• ASCP certification required.
