Psychiatric NP Opening - Flint, MI | Monday-Friday Schedule

Position Overview & Responsibilities Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and ongoing patient assessments Diagnose and manage a wide range of mental health conditions, from mild to severe and persistent illness Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate referrals as needed Provide ongoing medication management and psychiatric treatment Collaborate with Medical Director, Behavioral Health Director, Family Nurse Practitioners, and interdisciplinary care teams Support coordinated, team-based care across the behavioral health continuum Maintain accurate and timely documentation within Electronic Health Records (EHR) Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Occasional weekends, holidays, or irregular hours may be required Ability to meet physical demands including standing, walking, lifting up to 35 lbs, and performing tasks requiring manual dexterity Salary Range: $117K to $152K Annually Qualifications Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited program Current licensure in the State of Michigan as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner Board certification as a PMHNP (ANCC or AANPCB) Michigan Controlled Substance License and current DEA registration Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in mental health, including assessment, medication management, and crisis intervention Experience with developmental disabilities and/or pediatric populations preferred BLS certification required Proficiency with Electronic Health Records Valid Michigan driver’s license and reliable transportation The Community Living in Flint, Michigan offers an affordable, community-oriented lifestyle with a strong sense of resilience and ongoing revitalization, where residents benefit from a growing arts scene, local museums, parks, and easy access to outdoor recreation across nearby lakes and state parks.
