Strategic Procurement Manager - Indirect Procurement

RingCentral is hiring a Strategic Procurement Manager – Indirect Procurement to serve as the trusted partner for internal business partners and manage end‑to‑end procurement processes. Responsibilities Serve as the trusted partner and primary point of contact for internal business partners, guiding them through the entire end‑to‑end procurement lifecycle. Proactively engage and partner with cross‑functional stakeholders, including Legal, Infosec, IT, and FP&A, to preemptively identify and address technical, financial, and risk‑related requirements. Manage multiple BU and vendor engagements and high‑volume procurement activities simultaneously across diverse indirect spend categories. Collaborate with business partners and Procurement team members to develop, enhance, and execute category strategies. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align sourcing strategies accordingly. Support sourcing initiatives, including RFIs/RFPs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations. Maintain vendor relationships, manage contract renewals, and monitor supplier performance where applicable. Work closely with Legal, Finance, and IT teams to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation. Conduct market and supplier research to stay current on trends and benchmark pricing. Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and best practices, and educate business partners accordingly. Support continuous improvement initiatives across the procurement organization. Desired Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance or a related field. 2+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably in the software category or technology domain. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. Basic proficiency and demonstrable experience with fundamental contractual terms and commercial agreements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite / Google Workspace. Experience with procurement tools (e.g., NetSuite) and ERP systems (Anaplan, Oracle) and project‑management tools (Monday.com, FreshService, SharePoint). Demonstrable experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance procurement efficiency and insights. Excellent relationship‑building skills and ability to act strategically while being a hands‑on team member. Preferred Qualifications Experience in indirect procurement within a mid‑to‑large sized enterprise. Familiarity with software licensing models / SaaS agreements. Experience with one or more indirect categories. Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
