Senior Metrology Engineer
Eurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Eurofins seeks a Senior Metrology Engineer to maintain, calibrate, and qualify laboratory instrumentation while ensuring regulatory compliance. The role includes advanced troubleshooting, validation activities, and technical leadership of laboratory personnel in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, calibration, and qualification of routine and advanced laboratory instruments
- Execute advanced troubleshooting and repair of laboratory instrumentation
- Implement and validate instrumentation; oversee advanced instrumentation research and deployment
- Provide technical guidance, training, and oversight to laboratory personnel
- Ensure preventative maintenance completion, routine testing, and validation activities on schedule
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in physical science, engineering, or information technology
- 8+ years of GxP, laboratory, or instrument maintenance and repair experience
- Experience troubleshooting, documenting, and resolving non-routine instrument issues
- Proficiency writing technical documents including procedures and investigations
- Experience developing validation deliverables in GxP environments
- ISO 17025 calibration and measurement uncertainty experience (preferred)
- Unrestricted work authorization in the United States
