As a Security Officer Patrol in Marion, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Your visible presence will help to discourage security-related incidents while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, along with a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity in every interaction.

Pay Rate: $15.23 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and document visitor, vehicle, and/or delivery activity in accordance with location guidelines.
• Support access control and incident documentation by maintaining accurate logs, communicating relevant information to site contacts, and reporting maintenance or operational issues that could impact security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
