About The Role

As an Assistant Project Manager with United Utility, you will play a pivotal role in driving project success and contributing to the growth of our diverse and inclusive organization. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate project activities, track progress, and mitigate potential roadblocks.
• Prepare comprehensive project reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support budget management and resource allocation to achieve project objectives efficiently.
• Contribute to risk assessment and implement strategies to address project uncertainties.
• Assist tracking subcontractor production, costs, and performance to support project controls and reporting.
• Assist with schedule updates and progress tracking in coordination with the scheduling team using Primavera P6.
• Maintain meticulous notes and clear communication with United leadership and customer stakeholders.
• Foster an inclusive and respectful work environment that values diversity in perspectives and ideas.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Construction Science or related field.
• 1-3 years' experience in project management or related roles.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, promoting effective teamwork.
• Proficiency in project management tools: Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, highly proficient in Excel.
• Adaptability to evolving project demands and a fast-paced industry.

Key Nice-to-Haves

• Relevant certification such as PMP
