Maintenance Technician

Mobile TechnicianPay Rate: $25-$27/HR This position is starting as 1 day/ week, Monday or Friday to complete a weekly survey. They would then need to be on-call to escort vendors and be on-site for the duration of the vendor's duties. Availability would be regular business hours M-F 8am - 5pm Location: 400 Lindbergh Dr, Moon Township, PA Overview of Work Environment/Client Nuances: This is highly administrative role, but candidate needs to have a background in maintenance. Preference is for someone who lives locally so they are available to get to the site quickly. (Teams) About the Role: As a Mobile Technician, you will perform repairs and tend to several buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and ground requests. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. What You'll Do: •Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities. •Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems. •Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Manage and track completion. •Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner. •Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations. •Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors. •Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion. •Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail. •Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance. What You'll Need: •High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid Driver's License required. •Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. •Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. •Communication skills to exchange straightforward information. •Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. •Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. •Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups
