Job Summary:
The Mammographer profession is based in Salt Lake City, Utah. This position involves performing radiographic mammography procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images crucial for breast tissue abnormality detection. The Mammographer works independently, utilizing skills in advanced procedures like stereotactic biopsies and clip placements, ensuring patient safety and image quality.

Job Details:

• Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, Monday through Friday, with 2 Saturdays within the contract period
• Required Qualifications: - Certification: ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) in Mammography, current license in Utah, ARRT (R) (M) registration, and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers. - Education: High School Diploma or GED. - Experience: 1+ years of imaging or mammography experience. - Additional: Must meet and maintain mammography-specific ACR FDA/MQSA requirements and hold a Utah State License.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in imaging or mammography is preferred.
• Additional Information: The Mammographer will ensure proper patient identification, perform a variety of advanced mammography procedures including stereotactic biopsies, clip placements, and drainages, and operate mammography equipment to ensure diagnostic image quality. Maintaining accurate documentation and following radiation safety protocols in accordance with ALARA and safety standards are essential.
