About the Position

Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:00 PM - 06:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: Previous Epic Experience within the last 12 months required. Preferred: Some pediatric experience preferred. Description: Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders. Assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care modalities, including the supervision of respiratory care students. Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures. Maintain patient records. Select, assemble, check, and operate equipment. Provide high-quality respiratory care to various patient populations: Neonate, Infant, Toddler, School Age, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric. Work 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required. On-call duty required once every scheduling period. May cover other shifts as needed. One shift of mandatory low census may be implemented per week, depending on patient load. On-call is required during each scheduling period.
