Delivery Driver

We pride ourselves on reliable delivery, technical expertise, and a commitment to helping our customers succeed.The Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of automotive and industrial paint products and related supplies to customers. This role serves as a representative of the company during deliveries and requires professionalism, reliability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service. The Driver ensures products are transported and delivered in excellent condition while maintaining positive customer interactions.ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a company delivery vehicle to transport products to body shops, industrial facilities, and other customer locations.Verify and load customer orders accurately based on invoices or packing slips.Unload deliveries at customer sites, ensuring products are delivered in good condition.Maintain delivery logs, mileage reports, and delivery records as required.Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.Assist in warehouse duties when needed (e.g., stocking, picking, packing).Follow all DOT and company safety regulations and policiesProvide excellent service and represent Colours, Inc. in a professional and courteous manner.Perform other duties within store as assigned during driver downtime.RequirementsSkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Previous experience in route delivery required; warehouse or distribution is a plus.Good communication skills and a strong customer service mindset.Punctual, dependable, and able to work independentlyKnowledge of local delivery routes and territory is helpfulKey CompetenciesDemonstrates strong safety awareness and adheres to all DOT, traffic, and company safety regulations.Provides excellent customer service; courteous, professional, and responsive at all customer touchpoints.Shows strong attention to detail when verifying orders, loading, and completing delivery paperwork.Manages time efficiently and can adapt to changes in routes or delivery schedules.Communicates clearly with warehouse staff, dispatch, and customers.Works well in a team environment and is willing to assist in warehouse operations as needed.Comfortable with basic technology tools, such as handheld devices, routing apps, and delivery logs.Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing delivery tasks in a fast-paced environment.Maintains a clean driving record and always represents Colours, Inc. in a professional manner.
