Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including thorough physical examinations and medical history reviews
• Assist in identifying and diagnosing surgical issues by interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to develop and execute personalized surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative support which includes preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and passing instruments during surgeries
• Offer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, focusing on medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
