Patient Ratios: Maximum 5:1

Equipment

Standard EMR: Meditech Expanse

Typical Procedures Performed

Thoracentesis
Chest tube placement

Standard nursing skills required include:

Medication administration
RN assessments and reassessments
Effective communication with all members of the care team
Documentation in the EHR - Meditech Expanse
Care of patients post-heart catheterization

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year IMU/PCU experience (required)
Charge Nurse experience (preferred)
Experience with Meditech Expanse (preferred)
