Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer in Denver, CO.Job Details:Prepare structural designs, plans, specifications and cost estimates for transportation structures including bridges, retaining walls, and drainage structuresProvide load rating analysis, rehabilitation concepts, and structure-type analysis evaluationsUse current engineering design softwarePerform specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineerGather and correlate basic engineering data using established and well-defined proceduresWork on detailed and routine engineering assignments involving calculations and testsPropose approaches to solve problems encounteredIdentify discrepancies in resultsProvide guidance to entry-level engineersPerform work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervisionTelecommuting permitted up to 3 days per weekQualificationsCandidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field of study and 2 years of experience as a Structural Engineer, Civil Engineer, or in a related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field of study and no experience.Experience and skills can be gained in pursuit of a university-level degree via coursework, projects, or internships. Skills may be gained concurrently.
