Part-Time Physical Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various therapeutic techniques and will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients. This role requires expertise in areas such as orthopedics, Sports Medicine, and discharge planning, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their specific needs. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings. Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy techniques to facilitate patient recovery. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and rehabilitation processes. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary. Participate in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients from inpatient care to home or outpatient services. Experience Proven experience in a clinical setting, with exposure to outpatient physical therapy care. Familiarity with orthopedic rehabilitation techniques and discharge planning processes. Knowledge of physiology is essential for effective patient assessment and treatment. Experience working in hospitals or clinics is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
