Our priority is providing access to care and treatment in all aspects by listening to our patients, validating their experiences, and treating the source of their pain.How You'll ContributeGreet and check in patients; manage front desk and patient flow throughout the dayPrepare exam rooms and assist physicians with procedures, including ultrasound-guided treatmentsRecord vitals, update medical histories, and accurately document in the EMRSchedule appointments and coordinate follow-up careCollect payments at time of service and deliver financial packets as instructed by Treatment Plan Coordinators or the financial teamVerify insurance eligibility and ensure all paperwork is properly completedMaintain clinical and front office supplies; ensure all rooms are clean and well-stockedComply with HIPAA, OSHA, and all internal protocolsHandle confidential patient information with professionalism and discretionSupport internal coordination between clinical and administrative teamsParticipate in team trainings and ongoing process improvement initiativesOther duties as assigned by the department lead/managerWhat Makes You a Great FitCertified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent)High School Diploma or GED or Associate degreeProven working experience as a medical assistantKnowledge of medical office management systems and proceduresKnowledge of medical terminologyExcellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize workSocial perceptiveness and service orientedAble to safely lift up to 50 pounds and trained to assist with patient transfers and supportAble to stand or sit for long durations of timeStrong computer skills with EMRs, Microsoft Office, Teams, and OutlookExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and planning skills
