Call Brian at View phone number on click.appcast.io or Brandon at View phone number on click.appcast.io Responsibilities: Assist lead baker in daily bagel and baked goods production Measure, mix, and prepare dough and other baking ingredients according to recipes Operate and maintain baking equipment including ovens, mixers, and slicers Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation standards are followed Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure consistent product quality Assist with stocking and rotating ingredients and baked goods inventory Support front-of-house staff during peak hours as needed TIME 3 AM to 11AM Requirements: Prior experience in a bakery, cafe, or food service environment preferred Basic knowledge of baking techniques and kitchen equipment Ability to work early morning shifts and weekends Strong attention to detail and commitment to product consistency Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player About Us: Bagel Dock Cafe LLC is a beloved local staple in the charming coastal community of Calabash, NC, known for serving up fresh, delicious bagels and cafe fare that keeps customers coming back day after day.
