Housekeeper

Job TitleDaily sorts and cleans soiled linens and resident residents clothes using the washing equipment, loads the clean linens/clothes into the dryer and then folds and stacks the clean linens and clothes into appropriate groupings to be distributed back to the residents or storage areas.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Must be knowledgeable in general cleaning techniques for clothing and linens and the proper uses of certain cleaning agents.Must be mindful at all times of proper techniques to be observed when dealing with soiled clothing and/or linens used by residents having infectious/contagious conditions.Physical RequirementsMust be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move equipment, supplies, etc., in excess of fifty (50) pounds.Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents.
