• 1:3 call ratio with 30‑minute response time
• 12 patients per shift with 5 phone consults per 24 hours
• Inpatient only practice setting
• Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy and therapeutic procedures
• ERCP – both diagnostic and therapeutic
• Lower GI endoscopy including colonoscopy with biopsy
• PEG and small bowel biopsy required

Responsibilities

Provide inpatient‑only gastroenterology services, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, colonoscopy with biopsy, PEG placement, and small bowel biopsy. Respond to 1:3 call calls within 30 minutes and manage a patient load of 12 per shift while handling phone consults.

Qualifications

Licensed medical doctor with board‑certified gastroenterology training. Able to perform the procedures listed above and manage inpatient care.
