Job Summary and Qualifications Provides supportive help to the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy as a pharmacy technician under the general supervision of a licensed pharmacist and within the scope of practice as a pharmacy technician established by the department of pharmacy and the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, and other duties as assigned. Respects patient confidentiality. Upholds code of conduct. Consistently contributes to the quality and effective operation of the Department. Works independently with minimal supervision. Organizes and prioritizes work assignments. Ensures pharmacy services are provided in a timely manner. Attendance, punctuality, punches in and out appropriately Attends mandatory staff meetings or keeps current on dept. communication and information. Reviews and signs pharmacy staff meeting minutes. (must have sign or attend meetings 100% of the time) Meets dress code. Wears identification badge at all times. Performance demonstrates efforts to improve patient satisfaction, lower cost, and improve quality. Familiar with non-formulary policy and therapeutic substitutions at CRMC.
