About the Company

We are partnering with a growing financial services organization seeking an Associate to join its Restructuring & Special Situations team. This individual will play a key role in evaluating underperforming investments, assessing complex financial situations, and supporting restructuring initiatives across a diverse portfolio.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys solving complex business challenges, conducting detailed financial analysis, and working closely with senior leaders on strategic initiatives. About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze distressed, underperforming, and special situation investments
• Perform financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and credit assessments
• Evaluate restructuring alternatives and develop recommendations for senior leadership
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging risks and opportunities
• Participate in negotiations, workouts, and restructuring processes when applicable
• Prepare investment memoranda, management presentations, and financial reporting materials
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external advisors, and business partners
• Support strategic projects and initiatives related to portfolio optimization and risk management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 3–7 years of experience in restructuring, turnaround consulting, transaction advisory, credit analysis, investment analysis, corporate finance, or a related discipline
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Ability to interpret complex financial and operational information
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
