RN PsychThis position is for an Adult Psychiatric Registered Nurse. The unit treats adults aged 18 to 65 years with diverse mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and dual diagnosis patients. Patients may include those requiring detoxification and some medically acute patients, including intravenous therapies, CPAP, wound care, and diabetic care. The clinician to patient ratio is 1 RN to 7 or 8 patients. Rotating shifts are required for day positions, with shifts available from 7 AM to 7 PM, 11 AM to 11 PM, and 7 PM to 7 AM. Night positions do not require rotation. Floating to other areas may be necessary.
