Respiratory Therapist - Peds/Adult Assignment Length - 13 Weeks Start Date:ASAP Shift: 3x12 Nights Years of Experience: 2 First Timers Accepted: Yes Certs REQ: BLS, CRT (ACLS, NRP, PALS, RRT - Preferred) Skills REQ: 2 Years of recent Level 3 or 4 NICU or PICU experience Is on-call REQ: No Weekend REQ:Yes Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs?: Yes - Will cover NICU, PICU, Adult Open to accommodating block schedule?: No Locals Accepted: No - Candidates perm address must be at least 50 miles from facility Pending License Accepted: Yes, but must have license in hand for Auto Offer RTO Restrictions: Time off approved on an individual basis upon offer. All RTO must be included in submittal Unit Information 28 bed adult ICU, 9 bed PICU, 66 bed level 3 NICU, floor therapy. We are a level 2 trauma for adults and pediatrics. We also perform open heart surgeries on adults. We treat patients with all RT therapies to include NIV, high flow, nebulizers, CPT, nitric oxide, Flolan nebulizer to name a few. We have Draeger vents for adults, Servo-I for PICU and NICU. We also use 3100A and 3100B ventilators along with Jet ventilators in NICU. Trauma experience required 2 Years of recent Level 3 or 4 NICU or PICU experience - HARD STOP Skills REQ: Strongly desire someone with all levels of experience Level 3 NICU/PICU/ Adult ICU experience, but must have level 3 NICU/PICU or Adult with strong PICU experience.
