As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Applied ABC Hawaii, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Our team is dedicated to helping children overcome their unique developmental and behavioral challenges, and we are seeking a compassionate and skilled RBT to join our team in Kailua, HI.

About the Role:

As an RBT, you will work closely with our team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other RBTs to deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individualized ABA therapy sessions with children with ASD, focusing on improving specific behaviors such as communication, social skills, independence, personal hygiene, and more
• Implement and supervise Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans, under the supervision of a BCBA
• Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
• Collaborate with BCBAs to modify treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate records and reports of client progress
• Provide support and guidance to parents and caregivers on implementing ABA techniques in the home and community

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as Psychology, Special Education, or a related field)
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• 0+ years of experience in ABA therapy or a related field
• Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
