Mining Plant Operator

Mining Plant Operator Black Rock Services is seeking a reliable, safety-focused Mining Plant Operator to support aggregate production at our facilities. This role is critical to ensuring efficient operations, high-quality materials, and safe working conditions. Position Overview The Mining Plant Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring crushing, screening, and conveying equipment to produce quality aggregate. This role supports daily production, plant efficiency, and overall site operations. Key Responsibilities Monitor material flow, gradation, and production quality Adjust plant settings to meet production and quality targets Perform safe start-up and shutdown procedures Record daily production, downtime, and operational data Support stockpile management and site organization Perform basic maintenance such as lubrication and inspections Identify and report equipment issues promptly Assist with quality control sampling and adjustments Follow all safety policies and regulatory requirements Operate crushers, screens, conveyors, and related equipment What We’re Looking For Experience operating crushing and screening equipment preferred Strong understanding of plant operations and material flow Mechanically inclined with basic troubleshooting skills Strong attention to safety and operational efficiency Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable with a strong work ethic Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions Work Schedule This is a full-time position with a compressed work schedule: 3 days one week, 4 days the following week Typical hours are6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with flexibility based on operational needs Overtime and weekends as needed Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance options Paid time off and company holidays Opportunities for growth and advancement within Black Rock #J-18808-Ljbffr blackrockasphalt
