Our commitment to excellence stems from our personal integrity and from other defining attributes, which we call “Dewberry at Work,” that have inspired our employees to be successful for more than a half-century.ResponsibilitiesDevelop roadway geometrics and prepare detailed plans for the construction of safe and efficient roadways and highways based on applicable design criteria and specificationsPrepare engineering reports and contract documentsWork with and learn from experienced Roadway Engineers and Project ManagersCollaborate and communicate effectively with engineers in other transportation disciplines including Structures, Drainage, and TrafficProvide engineering support for projects in constructionAssist with the development of marketing and project pursuit materialsRequired Skills & Required ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline2+ years of relevant experience working on FDOT or similar public agency projectsEI or EIT license or the commitment to obtain within one yearKnowledge of FDOT roadway design criteria and roadway plans production processesProficiency with Bentley Open Roads DesignerAbility to manage multiple projects and complete work in a timely fashion to meet project schedulesAbility to communicate effectively (verbal and written)Strong desire to learn and be a key contributor to an outstanding team of industry-leading professionalsJoin Dewberry and be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to making a positive impact on the communities we serve.
