Position Overview
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and enjoys connecting with people. You’ll be the first and last impression our guests have — ensuring every checkout is efficient, accurate, and leaves them with a smile.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet every guest with warmth and genuine hospitality.
- Operate the register and handle all transactions accurately.
- Assist customers with questions, bagging, and locating products.
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout area and follow all sanitation standards.
- Process returns and exchanges with professionalism and care.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store flow and exceptional service.
- Follow cash-handling policies and ensure register accuracy at all times.
- Represent the Sara’s brand with pride, passion, and professionalism.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior cashier or customer service experience preferred (grocery or retail experience a plus).
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with accuracy.
- Dependable, punctual, and positive attitude.
- Comfortable handling cash and learning point-of-sale systems.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Flexible schedule availability (weekends and holidays as needed).
