If you're looking for a rewarding career with a respected organization that recognizes achievement and provides opportunities for advancement, we invite you to join our team and help drive our continued success!What We OfferSign on Bonus up to $5,000Toyota Certified Collision CenterOEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) TrainingHealth, Dental, & Vision Insurance401K PlanSupplemental Insurance (Accident, Critical Illness, AD&D, Short and Long-Term Disability, and Life Insurance)Employee DiscountsPaid Time OffJob Summary: Repairs and refinishes damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards.Primary ResponsibilitiesRepairs and refinishes vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards.Checks parts against estimate and ensures proper parts are ordered and received.Prepares vehicles for body repair work.Notifies management of any additional repairs or parts needed.Notifies management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised time.Maintains personal and shop tools and equipment in a proper state.Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials.Reports any deviations to management.Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles.Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for your position and the job duty at-hand, and promptly notify your supervisor should appropriate PPE be unavailable.Report to management any situation, interaction, or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the Company, its personnel, or customers.Complete all environmental, health, and safety trainings required by the Company through regularly accessing the appropriate software (KPA, Compli).Adhere to all Company and manufacturer policies and programs governing environmental, health, and safety practices.Qualifications/RequirementsTechnical or trade school degree required or minimum two years of automotive collision repair experience preferred.Dealership collision repair experience preferred.I-CAR certifications preferred. I-CAR certifications preferred are as follows: Aluminum Repair, Replacement and Welding; Collision Repair 2000; Electronics for Collision Repair; Finish Matching; Glass Replacement; Steering and Suspension; and Understanding Collision Repair.Must be able to work on and repair multiple makes of vehicles.Must have the ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles, both automatic and manual transmissions.Must have manual dexterity, good judgment and ability to operate power and hand tools and other types of machinery safely and efficiently.Must be able to work successfully on a flat rate pay system.Valid driver’s license required for essential job functions and occasional travel for relevant training courses.We are an equal opportunity employer.
