A respected and growing general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of public works, K-12 education, higher education, civic, municipal, and commercial construction projects throughout Los Angeles County. Responsibilities Manage construction projects from preconstruction through final completion. Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts. Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and field teams. Lead subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and buyout activities. Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation. Monitor project financial performance and ensure profitability goals are achieved. Identify project risks and develop proactive solutions. Conduct project meetings and maintain strong client relationships. Support field operations and collaborate closely with Superintendents. Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred. 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor. Experience managing public works, educational, municipal, civic, healthcare, or commercial construction projects. Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and project controls. Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software. Preferred Experience Public works construction. DSA K-12 and higher education projects. Ground-up construction and major modernization projects. Design-Build project delivery. Projects valued at $10M+.
