Coding Auditor

Working fully remote, the full-time Coding Auditor I will perform coding, auditing, and review processes while providing guidance on policies and procedures to ensure compliance and quality in healthcare documentation. Key responsibilities Perform coding, auditing, editing, and review processes as required by ProCode Provide guidance and feedback related to auditing, coding, and compliance with policies and procedures Complete daily, weekly, and monthly tasks as outlined in the work/auditing plan, ensuring timely reviews and record-keeping Required qualifications Relevant certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, or equivalent) Experience in coding and auditing within a healthcare setting Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements Familiarity with ProCode processes and procedures Ability to participate in system testing and provide assistance to MIPS quality reviews
