About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and organized recent accounting graduate to join our team as an Entry-Level Staff Accountant . This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate to apply their accounting knowledge, develop practical skills, and build a long-term career in accounting and finance.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, strong analytical skills, and a willingness to learn. No extensive professional experience is required. Training and mentorship will be provided to help the successful candidate grow in the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Help prepare financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules.
• Review invoices, expense reports, and financial transactions for accuracy.
• Assist with budgeting, auditing, and tax preparation activities as needed.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with accounting team members and other departments on financial matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, completed or expected by the start date.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn accounting software and new financial systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship, part-time, or project experience in accounting or finance.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP.
• Progress toward CPA eligibility or interest in pursuing a CPA license.
