Precision Imaging Centers is seeking an ARRT-registered X-Ray Technologist / CT Tech Assistant to join our Gate Parkway team in Jacksonville, FL. This part-time position combines diagnostic X-ray responsibilities with hands-on support for our CT Technologists. Why Join Precision Imaging Centers Outpatient-only setting – no call or overnight shifts Part-time evening and weekend schedule Competitive pay with bonus opportunities Supportive team culture with approachable leadership Referral bonuses and employee recognition programs Be part of a rapidly growing organization expanding throughout Florida What You'll Do X-Ray Responsibilities Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations while maintaining high standards of image quality and patient safety Properly position patients and operate radiographic equipment Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to imaging protocols CT Tech Assistant Responsibilities Assist CT Technologists with patient preparation, positioning, and exam setup Start peripheral IVs and assist with contrast administration in accordance with established protocols and authorized scope of practice Complete patient screening and review relevant medical history, allergies, and contrast safety information Explain exam preparation and procedures to patients to help ensure their comfort and understanding Assist patients on and off the CT table and provide support throughout their visit Prepare CT rooms, equipment, and supplies between examinations Monitor patients for signs of discomfort or adverse reactions and promptly notify the CT Technologist Maintain infection control, patient safety, and proper documentation standards Work collaboratively with CT Technologists to maintain efficient patient flow This is a combined X-Ray Technologist and CT Tech Assistant position. CT responsibilities involve assisting the CT Technologist rather than independently performing CT examinations. Qualifications ARRT(R) registered Radiologic Technologist (required) Current Florida Radiologic Technologist license (required) Current BLS certification (required) Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and efficiently in a busy outpatient setting Venipuncture experience preferred Previous CT experience is a plus, but CT certification is not required for this assistant role About Precision Imaging Centers Precision Imaging Centers is a leading outpatient diagnostic imaging provider dedicated to delivering Exceptional Clarity and Superior Care.
