Plant Maintenance Technician - Night Shift

Job Overview Plant Maintenance Technician – Night Shift (260001H9) Shift Hours: 5:00 pm–3:00 am, Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays. Hourly Range: $23.00–$33.00. Night shift employees receive a 20% shift differential. Responsibilities Promote safety by prioritizing MSHA and company safety standards. Perform repairs and maintenance on plant equipment (screen changes, conveyor belt repair, wear part replacements, crusher liner changes, water pump service; cutting, grinding, welding). Inspect equipment and structures daily for safety, reliability, and compliance. Monitor and review plant processes, particularly aggregate crushing, washing, and screening, to identify problems and ensure safety and material compliance. Enter and maintain service and lubrication reports to keep preventative maintenance records current. Perform general physical tasks such as cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Preferred: previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry. Preferred: knowledge of general industrial maintenance practices. Must be able to work overtime, extended hours, and in all weather conditions; tolerance for loud noise. Knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance. Benefits Paid vacation.
