Senior Income Tax AccountantWe are looking for a Senior Income Tax Accountant to join an industry-leading organization to manage key efforts for the financial team. The focus of this role will be to lead corporate income tax compliance, planning, and provision. They are also responsible for preparing federal and multi-state income tax returns, tax provision preparation and tax planning. This will be a hybrid working environment moving forward. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please reach out to us to learn more.Responsibilities: Senior Income Tax AccountantPrepare annual corporate and partnership tax returns and extensions.Calculate quarterly estimated tax payments.Roll forward and/or reconcile various tax-related accounts.Participate in the preparation of the annual income tax provision calculation (ASC 740).Research tax questions/issues and involvement in other special projects.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements: Senior Income Tax AccountantBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA Preferred)Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive income tax experienceExperience working with an ERP system, Oracle experience preferredExperience working with IBM Planning and Analysis is a plusExperience working with Excel for Apps GL Wand and Reports wand is a plusCPA or current eligibility to sit for the CPA examExperience with multi-state corporate and partnership income tax returnsAbility to research issues, make recommendations, and pick up quickly on new systems and processesExcellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skillsAdvanced Excel skills
