JOB SUMMARYCollaborates with department managers, subject matter experts, Instructional Designer III and Training & Development Manager to develop and produce training courses.ESSENTIAL DUTIESThe duties listed below may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform. Incumbent may be required to perform other related duties, as assigned, including cross training across other departments, as necessary.Collaborates with the Instructional Designer Supervisor to develop and produce instructional materials and training curriculumDelivers training for a minimum of one foundational courseAssists in instruction, preparing of training material and scheduling of the training classes and other training programs as requiredCompletes trainee evaluations and communicates trainee training needs to supervisorsMaintains related training attendance documentation for all required trainingAssists in maintaining a current published training calendar and directory of all internal training offeredParticipates in the testing of system enhancements and contributes to efficiency goalsHandles department purchasing and maintains record of all receipts to complete ongoing credit card expense reportsHandles training room scheduling and setting up and performing other administrative responsibilities for the training departmentConducts Banking Center Visits in order to identify training needs and reinforce best practicesWorks as a team to ensure training facility and equipment is operational at all timesParticipate in job specific training and other various Bank training programs, as necessaryMaintains current knowledge of internal risk controls and loss prevention, including reporting of suspicious or unusual customer activity per Bank policyMaintains current knowledge and complies with all federal and state laws and regulations and all established Bank policies and procedures, including internal audit controls related to department operationsMaintains current knowledge of all rules, regulations, and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AMLQUALIFICATIONSThese specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. Diploma or GED requiredAt least one year of previous banking experience with one year of training experience is preferredA Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, or at least one year of banking experience with two years of college is preferredEffective adult learning communications and presentation skills are essentialThorough knowledge of applicable banking laws and regulations is requiredComputer literacy and knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software are essentialMust be able to work effectively in a high-pressure environment and exhibit sound problem solving skillsGood organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are necessary for generating training materials/calendar and maintaining effective relationships with employees, customers and business prospectsAttention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks and handling numerous interruptionsMust be able to work a flexible schedule Monday-Friday and occasional Saturdays-SundaysOccasional travel to other branch locations/markets may be necessaryBilingual in English and Spanish is desiredORGANIZATIONThis position reports to the Instructional Designer SupervisorThis position does not oversee other positionsTRAINING REQUIREMENTSAll employees are required to attend scheduled mandatory trainings and complete online regulatory compliance training courses applicable to their specific job function. In all situations, employees must ensure that their actions fully comply with all federal banking laws and regulations, including internal bank policies and procedures.
