• Works in all environments where coverage is needed.
• Supports the Lead/ Assistant Guide at all times, acting as the Lead/Assistant Guides ?right hand.?
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Manages physical care of children (including diapering and toileting).
• Assists children with organizing materials and bringing tasks to completion.
• Consistently communicates with children in a firm, yet loving and kind, manner and upholds a calm patient environment.
• Communicates with the Lead Guide regarding all aspects of the children, classroom, and materials.
• Ensures the daily care of every child by following all school/classroom procedures and standards as well as all licensing guidelines.
• Maintains a professional demeanor and projects the values of the school at all times.
• Keeps up with required training hours and certifications according to licensing.
• Substitutes must work at least one day every 4 weeks in order to remain as an active Substitute.
• Substitutes cannot work more than 5 days within 2 weeks, without Corporate approval.
• Substitutes are not eligible for benefits, PTO, Holiday pay, or child discounts.
• Use the Student Information System for recordkeeping.
• Other duties as assigned.
