Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | On-Call Required | Holidays as Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit throughout night shift hours
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status using EPIC electronic health records
• Participate in on-call rotations as required by unit needs
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Adhere to facility infection control protocols, including potential care of COVID-positive patients
• Comply with all facility policies, including tobacco-free and fragrance-free environment standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with no license violations accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong proficiency with EPIC charting in a Labor and Delivery setting
• Experience working in a high-acuity or high-volume Labor and Delivery environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage on-call and flexible scheduling demands
