Senior Electrical Systems Technical Competency Manager
You will serve as the Senior Electrical Systems Technical Competency Manager and will be responsible for assisting with recruitment, workforce development, mentoring, training, and equipping efforts to sustain long-term branch technical health.
You will serve as the branch Subject Matter Expert, applying advanced scientific theories, codifying analytical approaches, validating tools, and spearheading the development, implementation, and active shepherding of standardized processes.
You will provide premier electrical and electronic engineering technical stewardship, assistance, and senior mentorship.
You will guide and evaluate engineering approaches, directing trade studies and risk assessments, and reviewing technical data packages to ensure the rigorous application of sound engineering principles.
You will leverage lifecycle engineering experience spanning research, design, acquisition, modernization, repair and overhaul to establish training priorities and posture the workforce to deliver high-quality marine electrical and electronic systems.
You will interface at senior levels across NAVSEA, DoD, industry, and academia to facilitate information exchange and foster collaboration aimed at advancing system effectiveness, safety, and reliability.
