Agiliti is looking for a Biomedical Services Supervisor to lead our onsite clinical engineering team supporting Palomar Health in San Diego, California . This is a great opportunity for an experienced biomedical professional who enjoys developing technicians, solving technical challenges, and building strong partnerships with hospital customers.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support a team of biomedical equipment technicians
\n
• Organize workloads and help ensure efficient day-to-day operations
\n
• Provide technical training and development to team members
\n
• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and calibrate medical equipment
\n
• Support preventive maintenance and quality assurance activities
\n
• Assist with evaluating new medical equipment and its conformance to applicable standards
\n
• Maintain equipment inventory, service records and documentation
\n
• Support hazard identification and medical device reporting procedures
\n
• Partner with hospital personnel and provide guidance on safe equipment operation
\n
• Manage operational budgets and resources
\n
• Participate in an on-call rotation when needed
\n

What We’re Looking For

\n
• Associate degree in Electronics, Biomedical Equipment Technology or an equivalent technical program
\n
• At least 3 years of biomedical equipment experience
\n
• Experience with electronic and mechanical troubleshooting
\n
• Knowledge of diagnostic, therapeutic and patient-monitoring equipment
\n
• Ability to read circuit diagrams and mechanical schematics
\n
• Familiarity with applicable healthcare equipment regulations, standards and quality practices
\n
• Experience using biomedical test equipment, including electrical safety analyzers, digital multimeters and patient simulators
\n
• CBET certification preferred
\n
• Flexibility to support business needs
