Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Experience as a paraprofessional, especially in school environments
• Comfortable supporting students with behavioral issues, using empathy and positive reinforcement strategies
• Ability to follow instructional plans and adapt to students’ individual needs
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers and staff
• Reliability and professionalism in maintaining confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with one student, providing dedicated support throughout their school day
• Assist the student with classroom participation, organization, and emotional regulation
• Implement behavior support strategies under direction from instructional staff
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment and encourage academic, social, and emotional growth
• Track student progress and communicate observations to educators
• Maintain a safe, respectful classroom atmosphere
