Location: Newburgh, New York
About the Position
Our client is seeking experienced Regional CDL A Drivers for a long-term opportunity in Newburgh, NY. This position involves no-touch drop-and-hook freight with consistent routes and reliable scheduling.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay rate: $30 per hour
- Overtime: After 40 hours
- Estimated weekly pay: $1,800
- Hours per week: 40
- Available schedules:
- Sunday through Thursday, with start times between 4:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
- Tuesday through Saturday, with start times between 4:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
- Employment type: Long-term flex
- Start date: July 17, 2026
Job Details
- Route type: Regional
- Freight: No-touch freight
- Trailer operations: Drop and hook
- Handling: Regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds
- Work setting: On-site
Key Responsibilities
- Operate assigned routes safely and responsibly.
- Complete pickups and deliveries according to customer requirements.
- Follow all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, customer rules, standards, and guidelines.
- Report equipment problems, accidents, traffic violations, and cargo or vehicle damage before, during, and after each route.
- Safely enter and exit the vehicle and access the rear cargo area as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting and moving freight as required.
