MIG Welder - 1st Shift

Ascend Staffing is hiring experienced MIG Welders for a manufacturing opportunity in Fort Worth, TX 76102. We are looking for reliable candidates with hands-on welding experience who can read blueprints, produce quality welds, and are willing to learn and work in different areas of the manufacturing process.

Pay

• $18.00-$25.00/hr, based on experience

• Weekly pay

Shift

• 1st Shift

• Monday - Friday

• Overtime available as needed

Job Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on manufactured parts and components

• Read and work from blueprints and specifications

• Set up welding equipment for assigned work

• Weld, fit, and assemble parts as required

• Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy

• Assist with grinding, fabrication, and other production duties as needed

• Follow all safety and quality procedures

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• 2-3 years of welding experience preferred

• MIG welding experience required

• Must be able to read and work from blueprints

• Must be able to pass a weld test

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Must be flexible and willing to cross-train

• Willing to work overtime as needed

• Steel-toe boots required

• Reliable transportation and strong attendance required
