Job Description As a Digital Imaging Technician, your day will be dedicated to preserving history by converting a physical document to a digital document. You will use our advanced technology and equipment to work on a variety of differently formatted and conditioned documents. Essential Duties Prepare documents to be scanned Unfold, de-staple, remove brads or any other fastener Keep all documents in order and sorted so the leading edge is always at the same side of the pages to be scanned. Make copies of items that cannot be scanned Obtain images that will be used throughout our entire operation Ensure images are 100% usable by adjusting settings so images are clear Competencies Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time as defined by Attendance Policy Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Monitors own work to ensure quality Quantity - Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity; Works quickly Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Works well in group problem solving situations Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
