POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Sunstate is a proud Second Chance employer that evaluates every candidate on a case-by-case basis. * You must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with heavy construction equipment or rental equipment strongly preferred. * Intermediate experience with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel, and gas engines.. * Experience with Tier 4 engines and DPF, SCR, and EGR aftertreatment systems is preferred. * Experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing equipment repairs. * Must have the necessary tools you need to perform the scope of equipment repairs. * Inspect, service, and test equipment, ensuring performance to manufacturer specifications. * Intermediate understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods.

• Diesel laptop and welding experience is strongly preferred.
• Safety oriented, maintaining industry and Sunstate safety standards
