We are seeking a server to join our Savor team. As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort.

Job description:

The Savor server will be responsible for taking food and beverage orders, retrieving and serving alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guest tables according to Forbes standards. This role will include collecting payments and assisting in the daily cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment. The ideal candidate will exemplify the values and beliefs of Eau Resort & Spa.

We have a part-time position available. This role is a flexible (AM / PM) position, and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights. This role is designated for Eau Spa's terrace cafe, Savor.

Essential qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Minimum 2-year(s) experience as a restaurant server.
• Food handling certificate.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to ensure mutual understanding.
• Ability to provide legible communication.
• Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.

Essential skills:

• Ability to understand guests' service needs.
• Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration, and think clearly when providing service to guests within any given period of time.
• Ability to focus attention on details.
• Ability to suggestively sell restaurant menu items, beverages, and wines.
• Ability to access and input information into Micros system.
• Ability to maintain good coordination while serving orders quickly.
• Ability to exert physical effort in transporting food and beverage to guests.
• Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.
• Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
