As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.60 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue04:00 PM - 12:30 AMWed04:00 PM - 12:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor and control access to the distribution location by verifying credentials, screening visitors and delivery personnel, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records. Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle activity at gates, docks, and designated access points, following established procedures for driver check-in, trailer movements, and restricted-area access. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and other designated areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
